LOCATION DESCRIPTION: Pošip is a real Dalmatian variety of white grapes that was originally discovered by a local farmer 150 years ago in the village of Smokvica where the winery is located. Our Black Island winery cooperates with 25 local family farmers (subcontractors) who have been growing grapes for generations. Special attention is paid to quality control throughout the year - from monitoring the cultivation, and during the harvest itself. In Smokvica itself there are about two hundred vineyards located between 40 and 160 meters above sea level. The vine is at least 15 years old, and the grapes selected come with three different soil types (red soil, sand and rocky) to achieve the right balance and harmony of the wine.

DALMATIAN DOG POŠIP 2019 to białe wino o złocistożółtej barwie, kwiatowych aromatach, cytrusach i śródziemnomorskich ziołach, doskonała równowaga między świeżością a złożonością odmiany. Najlepiej smakuje w temperaturze 10-12˚C.
OPIS ZBIORÓW: Zbiory na to wino odbyły się pod koniec sierpnia. Odbywa się to ręcznie i wybiórczo we wczesnych godzinach porannych, aby zachować świeżość i aromat. Zebrane grona dodatkowo selekcjonowano w piwnicy. Fermentowane w pinezkach ze stali nierdzewnej przez 3 tygodnie ze ścisłą kontrolą temperatury. Dojrzewanie na drobnym osadzie przez dodatkowe dwa miesiące.
